Words from IEMS Alumni

"College can be an intimidating place, lots of new faces and a whole new world. IEMS is a place where you are given the opportunity to meet amazing people. I entered the organization knowing one person and left it with a family. I got to spend the best four years of my life saving lives and building friendships that will last forever."

2012-2013 Officer Corps Elections
Monday, February 6, 2012
It's that time of year again! Elections for the 2012-2013 Illini EMS Officer Corps are set for Sunday, February 19th. The nominations sheet will be posted on the front door of the Illini EMS office starting Monday morning along with the prerequisites and roles and responsibilities of each of the 15 elected Officer positions. This information can also be found in the IEMS Constitution, found on our website. Nominations will stay open until 5 pm the night of elections.

What makes a good IEMS officer? An active member who is dedicated to IEMS and EMS, someone who is a good quality leader, and most importantly someone who can exemplify the professionalism that is characteristic of our unique organization. So if you know someone in IEMS who has acted as a positive role model and would make a good addition to next year's Officer Corps don't hesitate to nominate them.

For those interested in the position of Historian, the application for that position is posted on our website under the "Documents" link.
